In Oklahoma, Tax Warrant Intercept is a state program to send an individual's tax refund or credit to a state agency which is owed a debt.

In simple terms, Oklahoma state agencies can "intercept" or "snag" an individual's Oklahoma tax refund or tax credit to apply to a balance due to the agency.

Why is it called "warrant" intercept?

Warrant is a word often used to mean a legal document. It does not indicate that there are criminal charges or an arrest pending due to this situation.

Does this effect my federal refund?

No. Our clients, Oklahoma state agencies, do not have access to your federal refund
